Step 1: Check Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, ensure that you meet the following requirements:

• Age: You must be between 18 and 30 years old.
• Nationality: Open to candidates from all countries.
• Leadership Experience: You should have demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to making a positive impact in your community or society.
• Fluency: Proficiency in English, as the Summit’s language of communication is English.
• Interest: A strong interest in solving global challenges through leadership.

Step 2: Prepare Required Documents

To apply, you’ll need to gather and prepare the following documents:

• Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV): A current resume outlining your academic, professional, and volunteer experiences.
• Motivation Letter/Essay: A statement explaining why you are applying for the scholarship, why you’re passionate about making a positive impact, and how attending the One Young World Summit will help you achieve your goals.
• Proof of Leadership: Examples of projects, initiatives, or leadership roles you’ve undertaken that showcase your commitment to societal improvement.

Step 3: Submit Application

• Visit the official One Young World website or the Deloitte One Young World Scholarship page to find the application form.
• Fill in the required details on the application form, including personal information, your motivation, and leadership experience.
• Upload the necessary documents (CV, motivation letter, proof of leadership).

Step 4: Wait for the Selection Process

Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the selection committee. The process may take some time, so be patient. The selection will be based on:

• The quality of your leadership experience and achievements.
• The potential impact you have had or plan to have in your community or beyond.
• The motivation and clarity of your goals for attending the summit.

Step 5: Interview (If Required)

Some applicants may be shortlisted for an interview. If you are selected for an interview, it will be an opportunity to discuss your goals, leadership experience, and motivation to attend the One Young World Summit.

Step 6: Acceptance and Notification

If you are selected for the scholarship, you will receive an official notification from Deloitte and One Young World. This includes all the details about the scholarship coverage (such as travel, accommodation, registration, etc.) and other necessary information to prepare for the event.

Step 7: Attend the One Young World Summit

The scholarship will cover your:

• Travel expenses (flight tickets to and from Germany)
• Accommodation during the event
• Summit registration.
